Review: As a gamer myself I had been looking for a console that could be my son’s first introductory system & Nex playground fits the bill perfectly. To me, it gives a mash up of Wii & Xbox Kinect vibes. It gets you up off the couch, which is great to burn off young kids energy. It comes with 5 games or you can get a subscription to gain access to a larger catalogue (which isn’t a turn off for me). Setup is easy & straight forward. Active Reddit page. Shipping was good/fast enough. Just remember if you are based in Australia like myself you will need to purchase an additional adaptor before you can use it (I got mine from Bunnings). Overall have been super happy with the system. No issues so far. Son is loving his Elmo game. Looking forward to seeing more game releases.

Review: We recently purchased the Nex Playground for our 9- and 10-year-old kids, and it’s quickly become a favorite in our home—for the kids and the adults! Setup was incredibly easy. It connects to the TV via HDMI and comes with its own remote, making the whole process simple and straightforward.From the start, we were impressed with how user-friendly the system is. The interface is clean, and navigating through games is intuitive. We haven’t had any issues with connectivity or the device recognizing our movements—body detection has been spot-on, and gameplay is smooth and responsive every time.Our kids are absolutely loving it, and to our surprise, my husband and I are just as into it. It’s fun, active, and engaging for all ages, and it’s been a great way for the whole family to spend time together. We find ourselves playing it every day, and it’s honestly become a highlight of our evenings.Highly recommend the Nex Playground if you’re looking for something interactive, easy to use, and fun for the whole family!

Review: I bought this for my twins on a whim. It has been just the best thing for my home! I’m not all that big on video game systems. They have all the big name ones at their dad’s house, but I’m much more of a “let’s play outside” mom. This is a perfect balance for their desire to play video games and my desire to have them move more. They are 10 but I have also had loads of fun playing the games and we recently had a toddler fall in love with it as well. It’s very similar to the other movement gaming system we all know (but that won’t be named in this review) but there are no remotes! So I don’t even have to worry about accidents from a remote sliding out of a hand! And the cord for the system comes with a magnetic lens cover so we can cover the camera whenever we aren’t using it (although it does seem pretty secure). In my opinion, this is worth every penny already- and we are only a few days into using it.

Review: We set up our Nex playground yesterday and our kids have been non-stop playing for two straight days. Do I mind this? No! They are moving their bodies, laughing, and playing together. (I have not heard one fight in my house all weekend!) We have been a no-video game household until now because I don’t want my kids to get sucked into sedentary life. Also, my nine-year old daughter has Down Syndrome and might struggle with controllers. My kids have had the most incredible time together the past couple of days. This system is so INCLUSIVE! My daughter has not had any trouble at all. We are also trying to help my 6-year old son lose some weight and he has been SWEATING for two entire days. Tonight, I walked in to hand him apples and he was like, “Mmm, yummy! Apples! I’m so hungry!” (Normally, he refuses healthier foods and waits to snag some snacks). And that is when I declared to my husband (in a complete Mom-gasm): “This is the best family purchase we have ever made.” One thing to know: You will want to invest in the extra games. So plan for spending more than the purchase price. We opted for the full year for $80 and I feel like that is absolutely worth the price.
